First Things First

Well...it's been a busy yet calm 4 days around here!  And here's the reason why...
Meet Quinn!  The newest member of our little yet growing family!

I am quickly learning the phrases "all in due time" and "first things first" will now be my new mantra's!  The things that I would like to get done and feel pressed to do have suddenly shifted places!  Ace, Indee and Quinn individually deserve my all, my 110%!  My amazing husband came into Quinn's nursery this morning and said, "well, I'm heading into work!  If things get too hectic or overwhelming, call and I'll head right home!"  This is after a long weekend with him home taking care of most everything while I was in the hospital and then home focusing on our new little one!  So this morning I got up and looked at my day objectively, realizing that I probably won't get to everything in a timely fashion and that's okay!  The laundry can wait, as can the bed making, dish washing, errand running and blogging!  The things that can't wait??  The occasional(or rather often) "kiss it betters", hungry tummy's, playful spirits, sleepy times and quality snuggles need to be done now!  In the moments!  So my hands are a little more full, in the ABSOLUTE best way possible!  Thank you for being patient!  Thank you for allowing me to share with you our overwhelming joy!

  8. I was grateful to be in the hospital room as we welcomed sweet baby Quinn into the world. She is an absolute beauty - like her sweet Mamma! I absolutely love being a Grammy! Wish we would market that "fresh from heaven" baby smell.
