Hello, there! I hope you all had an excellent Christmas weekend! Here is the perfect thing to make and take to your New Years Eve bash! Our good friend, Mindi brought this to a party recently and it was a big hit. Enjoy!
Recipe:
2 cubes butter
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups light karo syrup
4 cups rice chex
4 cups corn chex
1 small box golden grahams
2 cups shredded coconut
1 6 oz bag slivered almonds
In an x-large bowl thoroughly combine cereals, coconut, and almonds. Set aside. Boil butter, sugar, and karo in a medium saucepan for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and pour over chex mixture. Fold and combine until evenly coated. You can eat it now or allow it to cool uncovered for a 1/2 hour to let it set up.

Oh I wish I had some right now!!! It's the best!
Mmm, this is dinner tonight. My favorite.
I literally ate about a pound of this over the last couple weeks! I can't keep my hands out of it! And here you are tempting me some more... YUM!!!
Oh Sister Haley you make me laugh... Thanks Bri for the nice compliment. I like your new design on your blog Bri. This is my favorite treat! My mom said she was going to make this for us when she arrives in a couple of days... then I won't have to make it. CAuse i'm too lazy!!!
I had a bit of an addiction to this right before Christmas. Luckily it is gone! That is really the only way to beat an addiction.
