Back in Business

Bri here, to make a long story short, lightning struck our house (or near it?) late Friday night and our internet, among other things, got fried. It shook our house and felt like a bomb exploded above it. Would you believe me if I told you my 2 1/2 year old and 5 month old slept through the whole ordeal?

The repair man came today and got the internet up and running...thank goodness! Thank you, sis, for keeping the home fires burning!

I wish I had something ooey and gooey to share with you...would you settle for some recent snaps I've taken?

Remember my garden when I first planted it? Well, look at it now! It's a jungle out there I tell ya....OH! and look at my buh-bayba.
Here are some pickings...I liked the colors. P.S. Get ready for lots of recipes with tomatoes.
Um, how did this pic make it in here!?
First dance class of her life today...totally got the lump.

  3. 1. I believe it's now safe to refer to your garden as your jungle.
    2. I just went to Costco and blew that picture of Lily up huge and framed it and put it above my mantle.

  8. Bri-

I noticed your green peppers...we have SO many of those we finally got creative and can't stop eating them! Scrape out the inside and stuff them (and I mean STUFF) with pepper jack cheese, then wrap them with raw bacon and stick them on the grill...you'll be in heaven and they are even good as leftovers the next day!
