Easy Ham And Cheesy Quiche

This morning when my little boy said he was hungry, I decided to get fancy instead of just giving him the usual cereal or toaster waffles. But I didn’t go too fancy. Afterall he is only 2 1/2 and I have very limited time in the mornings. I preheated my oven to 375 degrees, I pulled some Pillsbury already rolled out pie dough from my fridge and put it in a pie plate. While the pie crust was par-baking for 7 minutes, I made the custard.

For the quiche filling mix together:

6 eggs

2 cups whole milk

6 Slices of sandwich ham, chopped

2 cups freshly grated mild cheddar

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

Pour into par-baked pie shell and into a 350 degree oven for 40-50 minutes. The filling was fluffy, light and delicious! And as you can see, all the yummy, melty cheddar rose to the top and formed a nice cheesy crust! Perfect!
